From Post Punk to Techno, Golden Pudel to Berghain, sub to high culture – Efdemin has done it all, and although it may seem contradictory, it makes sense after all: The Berlin-based DJ, producer and Dial Records stalwart has steadily undergone a personal evolution from guitar and experimental music via euphoric, moody and elegant house towards the more straightforward, deep techno he puts on these days. And then there's his other persona as a label owner (Naïf, Lirum Larum) and sound / visual artist under his real name, Phillip Sollmann. It takes a reflected, multifaceted mind-set to make sense of it all – which he sails through and what his set for Slam Radio only emphasises.
