LDS aka Luca lives in Stuttgart, Germany. For a couple of years he has been focusing on producing fast techno. His last record on Monnom Black was the latest result of this mission. He always tries to give his music a conceptual frame. For the last year this frame has been the area around the digital developments and achievements in our world. His affection for synthesizers has therefore turned from his initial enthusiasm for old analogue synthesizers to a purely digital way of working and by that he means explicitly: FM synthesis! Even though you might not hear it in his music, he is a huge Autechre fan and their music is everything that excites him about Art: it is an explicit vision of a new modern world! Music that sounds so technological.
